Quinn's Hot Springs Resort
Montana's premier riverside hot springs resort on the Clark Fork River.
"Lewis & Clark's Healing Waters in the Bitterroot Mountains"
Lolo Hot Springs sits in the Bitterroot Mountains of western Montana, along the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. The Corps of Discovery camped here in 1805 and 1806, with Clark noting the springs in his journal. Today the resort offers outdoor pools surrounded by old-growth forest, with the Lochsa River nearby for fly fishing and whitewater rafting.
Used by the Nez Perce people for centuries, these springs were documented by Lewis and Clark in 1805. The current resort has operated since the 1880s, making it one of Montana's oldest continuously operating hot spring resorts.
Large outdoor pool surrounded by forest
Smaller hot tub for intense soaking
Combine with a drive over Lolo Pass into Idaho — the scenery on the Lewis and Clark Highway is some of the most spectacular in the Pacific Northwest.
Lolo Hot Springs exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
