Castle Hot Springs
Arizona's legendary luxury resort — a historic oasis in the Bradshaw Mountains since 1896.
"Arizona's Most Historic Hot Springs Resort"
Castle Hot Springs is Arizona's oldest resort, operating since 1896 in a dramatic canyon in the Bradshaw Mountains north of Phoenix. After a devastating fire in 1976 and decades of abandonment, the resort was meticulously restored and reopened in 2019. The natural hot spring feeds a stunning pool surrounded by saguaro cactus and canyon walls, with the historic lodge buildings fully restored to their original grandeur.
Founded in 1896, Castle Hot Springs hosted presidents Teddy Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, and John D. Rockefeller. The resort was a favorite of Hollywood stars in the 1940s and 50s. After the 1976 fire, it sat abandoned for 40 years before a $30 million restoration brought it back to life.

The farm-to-table restaurant sources from the on-site organic garden — the dining experience alone justifies the room rate.
Castle Hot Springs exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
