Clifftop Hot Springs Over the Pacific Ocean
"Southern California's legendary day spa — 19 pools, red clay mud, and pure relaxation."
Glen Ivy Hot Springs, affectionately known as 'Club Mud,' is one of Southern California's most iconic day spa destinations. Set in the rolling hills of Corona, the 19-pool complex is fed by natural geothermal springs and offers everything from the famous red clay mud pool to an underground grotto, therapy pools, and a full-service spa. It's a full-day experience rather than a quick soak — most guests spend 4–6 hours working through the pools.
Glen Ivy has been a Southern California institution since the 1860s when the natural springs were first developed. The property has evolved from a simple bathhouse into a world-class day spa while maintaining its connection to the natural geothermal springs that made it famous.
Large resort-style pool with mineral water, lounge chairs, and a swim-up bar.
The iconic red clay mud pool — guests coat themselves in mineral-rich red clay and bask in the sun to dry before rinsing off.
Underground cave pool with warm mineral water and mood lighting — adults only.
Five dedicated therapy pools with varying temperatures and jet configurations.
Don't skip Club Mud — it's the signature experience. Bring a dark swimsuit as the red clay stains. Arrive at opening (9 AM) to beat the crowds, especially on weekends. The Grotto fills up fast — head there first.
Glen Ivy Hot Springs exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
