Glenwood Hot Springs Resort
The World's Largest Outdoor Hot Springs Pool
"Soaking at the Foot of a 14,000-Foot Peak"
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort sits at the base of 14,197-foot Mount Princeton in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness, offering hot spring soaking pools directly on the banks of Chalk Creek. The resort features riverside soaking pools, an upper pool complex with a 400-foot water slide, an adults-only infinity pool, and a main soaking pool — all fed by natural geothermal springs that emerge at 132°F.
The springs were used by the Ute people and later by miners during the silver boom of the 1880s. The first resort was established in 1879. The current resort has been continuously developed and expanded, becoming one of Colorado's most complete hot springs destinations.

The free riverside pools along Chalk Creek are accessible without paying admission — park at the lower lot and wade into the natural hot spring seeps where the geothermal water meets the cold creek.
Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
