Glenwood Hot Springs Resort
The World's Largest Outdoor Hot Springs Pool

"23 Pools on the Banks of the San Juan River"
The Springs Resort sits atop the world's deepest geothermal hot spring — the Great Pagosa Hot Spring — which reaches depths of 1,002 feet. Twenty-three pools cascade down to the San Juan River, each at a different temperature, allowing guests to move between pools for a therapeutic experience unlike anywhere else in the country.
The Pagosa (meaning 'healing waters' in Ute) spring has been sacred to Native peoples for thousands of years. The Ute and Navajo tribes once fought over access to these waters. Today the resort honors that heritage while offering world-class amenities.

Book the 'Soak & Stay' package — hotel guests get 24-hour pool access, so a midnight soak under the stars is absolutely worth it.
The Springs Resort exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
