"Wild Colorado Hot Springs in a Forest Setting"
Strawberry Park Hot Springs is one of Colorado's most beloved natural hot spring experiences — pools built from native rock nestled in a dense forest of aspen and pine, 7 miles up a dirt road from Steamboat Springs. The setting feels genuinely wild: the hot spring water mixes with a cold mountain creek, allowing bathers to find their perfect temperature by moving between the two.
The springs have been used by the Ute people for centuries. Private development began in the 1980s, and the current owners have maintained a rustic, nature-first philosophy that keeps the experience authentic and uncrowded.

Where hot spring meets cold creek — find your temp
After dark (clothing-optional hours), the crowd thins dramatically and the stargazing from the pools is extraordinary. Bring cash — no cards accepted.
Strawberry Park Hot Springs exceeded every expectation. The water temperature was perfect and the setting is stunning. We arrived early to beat the crowds — highly recommend doing the same.
Loved the mineral pools and the views. It does get crowded on Saturday afternoons so try to go mid-week if you can. Staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.
